Q: When is Nanovor Evolution going live?
A: August 10, 2010
Q: When is the current Nanovor game going to go away?
A: August 5, 2010
Q: Will I need to create a new username and password in Nanovor Evolution?
A: The following accounts will be automatically transitioned into Nanovor Evolution:
• Any user who has redeemed a gift card.
• Any user who currently has a Nanoscope attached to their account.
• Any user who made an online purchase in the current game.
• Any user who has logged into the game since June 1, 2010.
• NOTE: Parent relationships will not be migrated.
Q: How do you determine my transition package into Nanovor Evolution?
A: We will convert your total lifetime Nanocash purchases into a Nanovor Evolution Membership on a dollar-for-dollar value basis up to $119.90 which will translate into a maximum 2-year Membership. We will be sending all Nanovor Evolution transition accounts an email shortly before the release date detailing what they will receive in the new game.
Q: What are the new monthly Membership costs?
A:
1-Month: $6.25
3-Month: $17.65
6-Month: $32.95
12-Month: $59.95
Q: Do you have to buy a Membership?
A: No. There are basically three options you can pursue to buy stuff in-game. First, you can play the game, earn Jolts, and use those Jolts to purchase various items (some things can only be purchased with Nanocash, some things with Jolts). Second, you can buy Nanocash outright, the same way that it worked in the original Nanovor OBG. Third, you can buy a Membership, which gives you Nanocash, Nanovor, and a Jolts bonus, which lets you earn Jolts 20% faster than non-Members.
Q: What if the amount of Nanocash I purchased falls between these price-points?
A: We will round your Membership up to the next available tier. For example, if you purchased $10 in Nanocash you will receive 2 1-Month Memberships. If you had purchased $20 in Nanocash, you will get a 3-Month and a 1-Month membership, which will run consecutively.
Q: What is included in a Membership?
A: 2 Nanovor per week, Nanocash, Jolt earning boost of 20% (as compared to non-Members), and twice as many Saved Teams as non-members.
Q: Will my collection of Nanovor in the current game carry forward into Nanovor Evolution?
A. Unfortunately, no. While many of the Nanovor from the current game are also in Nanovor Evolution, there are fundamental differences in the game, which meant that we could not move Nanovor from the first version to the next.
Q: Will my Nanoscope work in the Nanovor Evolution?
Yes. We have a new synchronization process and revised firmware for the Nanoscopes to work with Nanovor Evolution.
Q: Will Nanovor Evolution work on my Mac?
Yes. Because Nanovor Evolution is browser-based and runs on the 3d Unity engine, it will run on both Mac- and Windows-based systems.
Q: Will my Nanoscope work with my Mac?
Unfortunately, no. The Nanoscope software was designed to run on Windows, and requires the .NET 2.0 framework.
Q: When will I unlock more diamond slots for team building?
At level 21 you will have a total of 10 diamond slots to use to create a team with.
