February Nanovor Tournament bracket has been updated and the next rounds officially starts now! everyone has until Saturday to get this round played and until Sunday the round after that. We need to have all 8 brackets finished by Sunday so we can start the winners bracket.

Round 2 of the February Nanovor Tournament has officially begun. Feel free to check the updated tournament bracket to see who went on to round 2 and who your opponent is. Again, make sure to pm your opponent on the forum to set up a time to play. ( your opponents forum name may be different than their nanovor name so check the sign up thread to learn their forum name ) You also want to add your opponent to your friend list in game on all the servers. Our January Contest and Tournament have come to a close and its time to announce the winners. First, our Contest had you guess how many nanofins you thought were in the picture shown. The correct answer was 286. No one had the correct guess, but one person was the closest with a guess of 289. So that winner is forum member 124Rex. If this is you, then pm me on the forum your mailing address or send me an email from the same email you registered to the forum with and include your mailing address in it. The January tournament came to a close earlier today. And im pleased to announce the top 3 finishers. In first place is Darxun, who received a $10 nanocash card along with a nanofin and an entry into our quarterly money tournament. Second place went to loolp, who received in-game nanovor courtesy of Oreo10. ( phase stormer 1.0, gamma stalker 1.0, electropod 1.0, gigastriker 1.0, tank walker 1.0, circuit flyer 1.0, doom blade 1.0 and plasma lash 1.0 ). Third place went to Acheron143, who received in-game em’s courtesy of Oreo10. ( 1h2, 1h3, 1h5, 1m2, 1m3, 1v1, 1v2, 1v3, 1v5 ). All 3 received a special forum badge denoted their finish.

With the close of those, it becomes time to start new ones for the month of February. First lets go over this months contest. This months contest is a 15 question trivia quiz. Out of all the correct entries, 5 will be chosen to receive a nanofin. If no one gets them all right then we will randomly select 2 winners. Remember to follow the rules and take your time. February Tournament starts Monday so if you want in you need to hurry up and make sure you signed up in the appropriate forum thread.

Top 3 finishers will receive a special forum badge. First place will receive a $15 Nanocash card courtesy of dosseygang. Second place will receive 4 in game nanovor. Third place will receive 5 in game EM’s. Specifics will be posted on the bracket page once it is ready.

Tomorrow is the final day to finish this round and there are still 9 matches that need played. Sunday is the last day for the next round to be played ( 2 rounds needed completed this week, 1 by sat the next by sun ). Remember to read the tournament rules as well. And please do not sign up if you dont plan on showing up for your matches. You will be required to play at least one match a week for as long as you are in the tournament.

The January Bracket has been updated. We need to complete the next 2 rounds by Sunday January 24. There were many people who didnt attempt to play their matches and have been added to the “no show” list. Two no-shows and you are banned forever from participating in ANY events that we hold or sponsor. If you are unable to participate after you have signed up at any time during the tournament all you need to do is contact me via email or pm and let me know you can no longer participate and there will be no penalty against you.

We have also decided to have a contest EVERY month so we changed the deadline for this months contest for a Nanofin to end on January 31 so a new contest can then start. So make sure you click the link to the right to enter for your chance. We will post a new contest the beginning of next month.

Round 2 of the tourney has officially started. Please refer to the January tournament bracket for the matchups. You will again have until Sunday ( 1-17-10 ) to get the matches from this round played. Remember that is okay and actually encouraged to play your next match as soon as you know who the opponent is. ( even gefore that round officially starts ) Dont forget to read and follow the rules as we have already had many no-shows ( 2 no shows and banned from all future tourneys )
